DYLAN!!!!!

Happy Birthday Dylan!!!! You turned four yesterday and we had such a wonderful day!

1. We woke up and you chose your breakfast (lucky charms)
2. We went to the park (it was beautiful outside!!!).
3. We went to Big Boy for pancakes and sausage per your request
4. We went to Target so you could pick a toy that you wanted (you picked a batman gotham city jail)
5. You played with your toy during quiet time
6. You helped me transplant some of our planties
7. We had your birthday! Grandpa came over. We had Pizza, a batman cake, ice cream, and opened presents.

Grandpa gave you the cutest baseball outfit and a tball set. Daddy and I and Eli and Celia gave you a Star Wars counting book, Marvel puzzles, Madagascar and Cars games for your MobiGO, and a basketball!

It was a great day finished out with you putting together one of your new puzzles.

Happy Birthday buddy, you are one of my very favorite people on this planet. I love you SOOO much!!!!!!

April Fools!

You guys are awesome. I took you to the mall today to go shopping for a dress for Uncle Lech's wedding and I had so many compliments from people saying how well behaved you all were.

(I don't think they noticed Eli licking the mirror in one store, and Dylan crawling around the floor in another, but that's okay. hahaha)

You all had so much fun on Easter yesterday. You woke up and looked at your Easter baskets:

Ivy: Jewelry making kit and peeps and other candy (no jelly beans because of your braces!)

Dylan: Monsters, Inc and bubbles (they are colored which makes them even cooler!)

Eli: A cars coloring and activity pack and colored bubbles

Celia: a turtle bath toy

...and then you all got a big box of sidewalk chalk.

You then went to church at St. Gertrude (Momma was singing) and then we came home and had an egg hunt. That was pretty funny. Elijah was a nut! You found all of them and you couldn't stop! Celia was so cute walking around with the eggs.

We told everyone about new baby yesterday. Everyone was so excited to hear about another baby for us all to love. I am officially due October 12th, but will most likely have the baby on October 7th.

After our egg hunt, we went to Nana and Pawpaws house. You all had a lot of fun playing with your cousins and then we went home and went to bed. Happy Easter, my loves!

judgement

People will judge you - your friends, some family members, people that you've trusted with your whole heart. Never give up on God. Never hold anything or anyone closer to your heart than Him. Only keep the ones that lift you up close to you.

Baby number 4 - we get to hear you and maybe see you on Friday. I'm pretty excited. <3

SPRING, HURRY!

Well guys,  I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for being the grouchiest first trimester mama in the world. I hope you all forget these 8 weeks of your life. And, especially sorry to Dylan, who has had to go through this two other times before.

On Sunday we went to the zoo. It was a valiant effort. It was almost 70 degrees outside and the zoo was packed with lots of little people, but yet lots of things (mostly the things you wanted to do) were closed. Luckily, Daddy was the awesomest daddy in the whole world and bought us a membership so we can go again really soon. (The train opens in 4 days - this is what the biggest let down of the day was.) Dylan, you let out a blood curdling scream when you heard the train was shut down. Elijah, you almost cried. I almost did too.

Well, chewy granola bars, aka candy bars, saved the day. :) and UDF milkshakes saved the day for Daddy and me.

xoxo

oh....ps...

Elijah, you just dropped a bowl of pita chips on the floor and said "Crap! Crappy!" That's who I've been lately. Ugh. Sorry, babes.

From when Cecilia was first in my belly. That is not a smile. I'll tell ya that, right now.

Hello, I'm your mama...and I love you!

Well, hello there. I haven't been the best at keeping track of all of the news with you guys. I haven't even finished Dylan's baby book, and barely started Elijah's (sorry Cecilia). I thought I'd start writing in this and give you the address someday so you could go back in read it if you want. I'm also going to work on your baby books...I promise! :)

I just want to say something first. I know that we didn't choose each other, but God chose us to be together. He saw you and all your abilities, hopes, dreams, faults, love, wonder...etc...and decided you would fit best with me. He saw all of my mistakes, all of my love, all of my doubts, all of my hope and he chose you to be mine (temporarily - you're always His). I am so sorry for all of my mistakes. I'm learning. I beat myself up over every little mistake daily because I wish I could be perfect for you, but I can't. Please forgive me for that! God put us together for some greater plan. I will help you grow and you will help me grow. You are my heart and my soul. My goal is to get you to heaven, and sometimes I forget that. I will try and remember. I will try to stop what I feel like is important when you need my attention. It's all going to be okay, and no matter what, you all are my number ones! I love you sooooooooooooo much....to the moon and back, infinity times!!!

Dylan: You are three! Actually, you are three and eleven months. You will be four next month and I can not believe it! You are so wonderful. You challenge me on a daily basis, and for that I would like to say THANK YOU! You and your daddy...always challenging me to be the best version I can possibly be of myself. You wrote a few letters completely on your own the other day. You wrote "F" and "E" and "G"...you also made an "H" out of pretzels. That was kinda cool. So! You won't let me teach you your letters because you don't think I really know how to write letters. Okay, well...I will let you learn all on your own....and you will take my breath away at every new discovery. It is amazing to see what all you soak up. My little sponge. :) You are really into Batman and Spiderman. You're going to school twice a week and you LOVE it. You are so excited to start real school in August. I will miss you though. I love you, buddy...keep being my big boy!

Lijah: You are two and ten months...and potty trained! and so silly! and you adore Dylan with all your heart. You like to do everything he does, and say everything he says. Aunt Christie and Uncle Chris call you and Dylan, "Pete and Repeat" hehe. They also call you "Conan," and you wrestle with Uncle Chris every time you get together with him. You have started playing a lot with Cecilia. She is just as silly as you and you get along so well...except for when she's annoying you. You scream a lot when you don't get your way, but I know that will pass and you will start to use your words more. You are my cuddle bug and you have the best smile! I hope you always keep that cheer! :):) You are so great to be around. I love you Lijah Bear!

Cecilia: My baby girl! You are 14 months old and I still haven't gotten your one year photo taken! You have a stomach bug today, so I've decided that the first day you are feeling better I will put you in your birthday dress (it is sooo cute) and we are going to get some pictures taken. You have been such a blessing to me! You adore Daddy, and I am 100% sure he adores you back. You've been walking and it is the most precious thing I've ever seen. You love to cuddle (especially with Mama and Daddy)...and you suck your thumb alll day! We've had some trouble with you gaining weight, but I think you've started eating more in the past two months. I hope at your next doctor appointment that your weight has gone up. You sleep through the night like a little champ and every morning you great me with the sweetest, "HIIIIII!!!" Love you, Ceeya!

Well, I have some news....God has sent all of you a little brother or sister (he or she isn't here yet, he or she is still in Mama's belly)! We haven't told you yet because we want to go to the doctor first to make sure everything is okay, but I'm pretty sure (by the amount of morning sickness I've had) that everything is going great. Mama isn't sure if it's a boy or girl, but Daddy is pretty sure it's a girl. We will find out soon though! The baby won't be here until October, so we still have a little bit to prepare! :) Can't wait to see your faces when we tell you!
